Steelcase Leap Fabric Chair,Black

The search for a good chair was not easy. Steelcase is good choice, It is ergonomic chair, livelumbar technology flexes with movements for ergonomic comfort, there are several color to choose. I've been using a Leap chair for nearly two years, and overall have been very pleased with it. I tested out Steelcase think, Steelcase Leap chair is more comfortable than other chairs, example Aeron. Main difference is that Leap is more flexible and comfortable in many positions, while Aeron is more rigid and you have to sit in a single position.

Steelcase Leap Fabric Chair,Black

Comfort: Leap is comfortable when you sit straight up, lean back, or slouch.  the seat back stays in contact with your lower back and still provides support. Changes in posture help you stay comfortable and more attentive. Leap seating’s Natural Glide System enables you to comfortably recline without straining your eyes, neck, or arms. It's a goodsend if you have sciatica pain. Other key points of value are the arm rests (very highly adjustable and soft to the touch), adjustable lumbar support, and how the front lip dips down automatically when you lean forward to alleviate pressure on your thighs. The seat pan adjustabiility is also key for comfort.

Fit: Your body is unique. you won’t find small, medium and large here, you need a chair that easily adjusts to fit you, your preferences, and how you work. Thanks to LiveBack technology, the Leap chair back flexes to change shape as your back changes shape, providing stable support and encouraging unrestricted movement.

Movement: Each individual’s spinal motion is unique. Even for people of identical size, age, and gender, each spine moves differently. Moving helps reduce pressure on the spine, sends oxygen to your muscles, and increases blood flow to your brain. Movement is healthy and your chair should support your body as you move.

Orientation: Changes in posture help you stay comfortable and more attentive. Leap seating’s Natural Glide System enables you to comfortably recline without straining your eyes, neck, or arms.

Material: Leap uses cushion, whereas Aeron uses mesh. I prefer the mesh over cushion. Mesh is cooler, comforms to the body, and it seems to be more durable. On the other hand, cushion should be softer than mesh. I say should, because the cushion on Leap is still too hard. It almost feels like the cushion is not thick enough.

Price: The price was still a sticking point. Fortunately, there are many used Leap chairs available, and I was able to get one in great condition from a local seller for about one-third of the price of a new one.
